Injuries and violence are preventable—and together, we can make a difference. Our Injury & Violence Prevention programs work to protect people of all ages through education, partnerships, and evidence-based strategies that reduce risk and save lives.

Whether you're a parent, caregiver, community partner, or resident, we’re here to provide resources, support, and programs that keep our community safer. See the topic listing on the left panel for health and safety information.

Benton-Franklin Health District's Injury & Violence Prevention programs are supported by community partners, who attend groups, such as  Safe Kids Benton-Franklin, the Child Fatality Review team, the Safe & Healthy Aging Coalition, the Overdose Fatality Review Team and the Suicide Prevention Workgroup of the Behavioral Health Committee.
